Pico do Arieiro Sunrise

About this service:

The view of the sun appearing above the clouds at the top of Pico do Arieiro is always very special and worth the early start in darkness as we leave Funchal to head to the mountains. As the time of the sunrise constantly changes throughout the year, it's not currently possible to book this service online, but if you'd like to book, please call or email me instead and we can work out a day and time. After your sunrise tour, if you're an experienced walker, you may wish to stay at Pico do Arieiro to walk across the trail at the top of the mountain. I can wait for you and take you back to your hotel or apartment afterwards. Rates may vary for the extra time to wait and return, so please contact me for clarification and a quote. If you're not intending to walk after sunrise, but would like to continue with more sights, it's possible to add a Half Day Tour to the end of the Sunrise tour. Please call me or email if you wish to combine tours in this way as it's currently not possible to book and combine them online. Thank you for your understanding!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or re-scheduled bookings will be accepted only up to 48 hours before the start of the original booking. All prices are based on your collection address being in and around Funchal. If you are based outside of Funchal, please note that there will be a surcharge to cover the extra travel time and this will vary depending on distance.
