As the name suggests, Ponta do Sol is known to be the sunniest spot in Madeira and we visit this small town as part of the following three day tours: West, South West and The Mega Tour!
It has a small pebble beach, many good restaurants for lunch and is a lovely place to walk around. You can walk over the sea on the Cais da Ponta do Sol (Ponta do Sol pier).
